When displaying cross sections, the 3D linestyle for guardrail only displays exactly what is in 3D. The post and block are not show unless the cross section is exactly on the plane of the cross section. Civil engineers usually want to see all the guardrail components in a section. This can apply to other 3D linestyles as well.
