Hide everything on the same level as selected element

It would be useful if there was a button that can hide all the elements that are on the same level as the currently selected element.

    You can hide the categories or models of selected elements. Just select an element and then in the selection context toolbar in the upper left choose hide selected categories or models.

    Just tried to do this and cannot find the button to hide the level/layer. Does it still exist?

    Would also like the option to hide the entire file.
