Coloring elements based on part of model name

As part of the filtering procedure, elements currently can be colored based on their model names. We would like to be able to specify in detail the filtering rule.

It would be beneficial if we can color elements based on parts of the name of their original models. This will help to visually check and identify elements based on a certain value, where multiple models can have the same color based on that value.

    Ward,

    If I understand this correctly:

As an example you want to color code the model based per discipline where the discipline is defined in the model name.

Such as All "STR********" (structural) files are red and all "ARC*******" (architecture) are blue and "CIV******" (Civil) are Green.

of course this could be used for any part of the name and you could do:

    • Project Phasing

    • Sub Project

    • Design team

    • Zone

    • Area

    • ..........
