Ability to Set Flag to ignore drawing and sheet models when synchronizing

Syncs were timing out after 24-48 hrs. When Bentley investigated they set a flag on the project to ignore drawing and sheet models when synchronizing, something only a few developers at Bentley can do. Project's need the ability to do this themselves.
